How much has Microsoft's decision to delay Vista into 2006 weighing on this?

I have seen zero price movement on commodity LCD monitors in a few months. Typically, prices are rising now as stores start building Christmas inventory. Or if manufacturers have overbuilt you might see some discounting to clear inventories. Neither seems to be happening. This would imply that either manufacturers have correctly guessed orders months in advance or inventory is being withheld from the supply chain because prices are low enough that none of the manufacturers are making much.

My guess based on your note is that the whole supply chain is probably stuffed.

OR - I could be full of shirt.
