Quit supporting a failed corrupt regime. The American people have voted in this poll that they solidly support democratic initiatives to end the war, reduce health care costs, stomp out corruption in DC (even if more rightwing heads have to roll), take better care of average Americans, reduce gifts to the rich, regulate the oil industry and punish those who have led us so far astray.

Either repent and join us, or get out of the way. We run the country now. And the GOP is now no longer led by Bush-Cheney but ironically by GHW Bush's old guard, and the moderates. The religious right is dead and the corporate greedheads are about to be regulated back to where they give back, not just take-take-take.

Bush's faith-based initiative is a giant vote-buying scam. The biggest ever. About 3.4 billion has been paid out strategically in swing states and tight districts where a few greedy mega-churches' flocks can make all the difference. This is tax-payer money too, not party money, so it's doubly corrupt.

In Ohio 2004, for instance, Bushies laid out the money for all kinds of churches, especially in democratic-leaning areas.

Buying votes is as old as democracy itself, but Bush-Rove took it to a new low. Hopefully though congress will cut the faith-based money, which honest churches don't want anyway.
