Peter If Israel was rattling it's sabre and making all the necessary, and obvious preparations for war, CNN would be hysterically shrieking about the Militant Jews getting ready to slaughter poor helpless ............ Your choice for target. If on the other hand Israel is perceived to be repairing the devastation caused by Muslim rockets, and quietly going about it's business, then when war comes it will be a delightful surprise for CNN and it's Muslim Allies. Instead, Israel can make most of the preparations quietly and unseen, and be ready to reduce excess populations in neighbouring countries, when it sees that the neighbouring countries are nearly ready for war. No sense destroying the enemy munitions and weapons before they are all in one place.
