Exactly, so they are responsible for most of the spending. They passed most of the spending bills, and most of the entitlements. Most of the entitlements (the biggest category of spending, and the only one that grows automatically without reauthorization) where passed by Democratically controlled congresses and signed by Democratic presidents. (OTOH a lot of Republicans did vote for them, and Bush passed the new drug entitlement with a Republican congress


So then, you are saying that Dems are the party of fiscal responsibility. Why haven't you pointed that out before?
