If the house comes under Dem control, Dean has lot of gloating to do. He was the one who provided Dems with whatever backbone they have now and he was the one who pushed for 50 state strategy (which is now paying dividends) over the objection of Rahm Emanuel and Schumer. If Terry McAuliff was still the head, they would have been busy triangulating a small handful of seats in Blue states only.

Many incumbents will have to pay for tacitly supporting Lieberman. From what I hear the turnout is huge in CT and his name on Ballot is not easy to find. I pray that this jerk loses so that we can put his bipartisan sanctimony to rest.

"The Democrats are running candidates in 426 districts, by far a record, all thanks to Dean."

Yeah, Dean looks like a wizard for offering alternatives everywhere right when the entire country has decided to throw the Repugnican bums out.

I do think the other two guys have to be commended too, for offering conservative Dems in conservative districts.

I don't remember guns being an issue anywhere this cycle, and the Foley thing kind of squelched the gay issue for the Repugnicans.

With no record and a war America hates on them, they had little going for them.

re: This is total bullshit. It's exactly the other way around. The Democrats are running candidates in 426 districts, by far a record, all thanks to Dean.

Agree. I wasn't posting it for the editorial content...

Dean has been great for the Dem party.

I agree with you 100%.

Having said that, there is something about Dean that makes people want to kick him. I felt that way when I watching him speak on CNN the other nite. I am not sure what it is but there is something about him that makes you want to put him down. Its very weird.
