Conspiracies do happen. Within the US people get indited on conspiracy all the time.

Claims of bizarre, highly elaborate conspiracies are most often false, and people who make such claims are usually impervious to facts or reason. But that doesn't mean all accusations are similar to those made by the crowd who claims that the CIA assassinated JFK, or that Bush was behind 9/11.

There is plenty of evidence of Saddam's support for terrorists. The posts I linked to where not some bizarre conspiracy theory.
