Maybe. I think America is going to be a very different place in the next five years.

I'm not sure who is going to be allowing "who" to do what come 2012. And, I'll bet on the 300 million American people winning over a corrupt and broken political system.

Americans are a strange bunch. We will sit and watch American Idol and get fat and accept BS and lies until the ability to sit on your ass and do those things is compromised.

Give it time and don't give up hope that things will really change in our lifetime. I think they will, as the end of this cycle of excess draws near to the end. And there might be chaos, and there might be other bad things, but America will reinvent herself (and probably default on a lot of debt in the process).

I don't have answers (that must be clear), but I see the question that lies ahead.

Ron Paul might be perfect, provided he is not too old by then.
