Unfortunately politics in America has become more about the people in politics than the issues they represent. It has now become popular for every Tom, Dick, and Mary to become a political personality; and in so doing, they also make the issues and elections about themselves. It has become popular to participate in the corruption surrounding all political events. This is why I think we need to make a serious effort to address corruption with anti corruption laws. It will never happen while folks harbor the corrupt within their own groups while vilifying those doing the same or similar acts in opposing groups.
