Scoobah, For centuries Jews and Arab Moslems and Christians have lived in relative peace with each other. What changed was the appropriation of land that was in majority Arab land. Whats worse is those who came to control the land of Palestine and create a "Jewish" state were from half ways around the world, of a totally different culture (Jews are of many stripes and cultures). The Askkenazi Jews looked down their noses at the Sephardim, so even amongst the Jews themselves there was hostility. What do you suppose the feeling would be between Arabs and Ashkenazi Jews? "There is no true reason for the Arabs to hate the Jews." There is plenty of reason for the Arabs to hate the Zionist though. If someone horned in on my land, I will feel exactly the way the Arabs feel. len
