re: IOX.OL - Interoil E&P ASA - NOK 44

Great news on development and exploration from Peru and Columbia.. should add 500boepd from Peru alone. Columbia exploration also a success, production testing later..

Oslo, Norway -Interoil Exploration & Production
ASA (OSE: IOX) hereby announces today that the
first 4 wells drilled in our 4Q 2006 campaign,
have all encountered oil and are producing more
or equal to expectations.

Interoil made a strategic decision to
discontinue drilling in Peru and Colombia during
the summer of 2006, in order to integrate all
previous geological information including what
was learned during our very successful Q1 & Q2
2006 drilling campaign. We had then the full
support from our technical subsidiary Proseis in
Zurich that have been working closely with our
local companies in Peru and Colombia to plan and
execute the Q4 drilling campaign.

In Peru, we have drilled 3 wells in the northern
portion of Block IV, the `Bronco` area. All
three wells have encountered oil. Two of the
wells are producing in excess of 200bopd. The
third well is producing 80bopd, which is more in
line with expectations. The wells also indicate
that the limit of the field extends further to
the North & East, which will open for more
drilling locations and increase our reserve
base. We will continue to drill another 4 wells
in this `Bronco` area in addition to drill 2
wells towards the southern part of Block III
this year. We are budgeting for drilling approx.
22 new wells in Peru for 2007.

In Colombia, we have drilled 1 new exploration
well West of our main producing field, based on
3D seismic recently acquired. This well will be
tested next week and the indications are very
good. The 3D seismic and the new well, confirms
the extension of the main producing field to the
West, which again will add new drilling
locations and add reserves to this field. All of
the main reservoir sequences were encountered,
oil filled. The 3D has also indicated a possible
extension of the same field to the North, and
our drilling rig in Colombia is now moved to
this location for the final well this year.
Drilling is expected to take 10 - 14 days. We
are budgeting for another 10 wells to be drilled
in Colombia during 2007.

re: ENER.OL - Ener Petroleum ASA 163NOK

I think I found another great independent E&P opportunity without much political risk attached .. again on the Nordic OTC, where Interoil ASA (now IOX.OL) was initially listed, too.

The metrics appear almost too good to be true: ENER Petroleum ASA, Ticker: ENER.OL (otc), marketcap of around $20m USD (!!)producing 6000-8000boepd net to them offshore NORWAY. Government approval was recently received for the underlying transaction. I had a very nice talk with their CEO, Mr. Loege. Like Interoil (IOX.OL) recently. Initially listed this spring, this firm is an Oslo OTC company.

This is the best bargain I ever saw in the last year on any play without political risk attached (North Sea, US, Europe, Australia). Why ? Because only 1.1m shares outstanding, $20m (=$170m NOK) marketcap. They acuired a 45% stake in the ExxonMobile operated Jotun field.. at the time of acquisition their share was 5400boepd, now they drilled some development wells, it should be running at 7000-8500boepd now..

The recent news release sort of cleared the last formal hurdles (government approval) and finally confirms their production of around 7000boepd net to their interest.

you can get the current quote on ENER Petroleum ASA:
norma.netfonds.no
Right now it's around 160 NOK .. and the "OM Ener ASA" button tells you that only 1.1m shares do exist and a coouple of other goodies (like the ISIN number, lot size etc..)

Now the best is this: Marketcap is a meager NOK 200M, as there are just 1.1m shares out, costing around 160NOK each.. there are 0.6m warrants out with a strike price of north of 800NOK.. very nice valuation .. 6000-8000boepd and marketcap is a meager $20m USD. P2 Reserves around 15-20MMBO

this is a brownfield company and they bought their first asset from Shell.. Shell bought Enterprise Oil last year and now is shedding properties peripheral to them, one of them being Shell's 45% stake in the Jotun field, operated by Exxon Mobile..

what is more, they are pre-qualified to participate in upcoming North sea block auctions. Their interest being OIL not GAS, targeting acreage in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and the UK
