In the other local congressional race, Clay Shaw the incumbent Republican is trailing Klein the Dem.. Pretty much Shaw was painted with the Bush brush. This is one Bush is responsible for losing.

So is Ann Northup in KY. I always looked at her district to see how Republicans would do. Looks like Dems may get Senate as well.

Good thing is that being in wilderness tends to be beneficial to the Republicans, and they tend to find themselves. They are also a good opposition party. Not so good as a governing party. After great first 2 years following 1994, they they have become increasingly sub-par, mediocre governing party.

The only problem is that Dems are as horrible as a governing party as they are an opposition party...
