Hey Don, Wish Saul was back with us more often. It was his analysis that got me to buy into this thing. What do you think of the following:

Mr. Wetherell (sp?) wanted to get the price of CMGI stock up. CMGI decalared a stock dividend of LCOS. For holders of CMGI stock. It was then speculated by the "media" that the price of LCOS would go down because all of the dividend recipients would immediately sell the LCOS stock. LCOS subsequently tripled and CMGI doubled. Did I learn anything? Well, I've learned to respect Mr. Wetherell. Questions are--what was the short interest in CMGI from the time of the announcement until present? What was the short interest in LCOS form the time of the announcement to the present?
I speculate that if the short interest in CMGI was high at the time of the dividend announcement, the shorts did not realize that they would have to go into the market and BUY (not borrow) shares of LCOS to cover the shares sold short. So with the CMGI announcement of future announcements of this type being effective on the day of the announcement, the short sellers are effectively screwed. So all the folks on the LCOS thread looking for a long buyer and why anyone is long, need to wise up. I sold my LCOS stock at $40 and bought it at $0. So why DID LCOS go UP?
regards,
kenteen

Don and Saul, Just checking in. I unfortunately sold at 32. Where did you guys bail? Is this a short here? It didn't look like a $60 stock when I bought in.
