Maurice, you claim that CO2 poorly sequestered at the bottom of the ocean would acidify the surrounding water . . . . . . but this wouldn't be a problem because it would "quickly dissipate". Dissipate to where? You now claim it will not dissipate into the atmosphere. So where is the secret hiding place it will dissipate to? The reproduction and growth of coral reefs, and crustaceans are already declining due to the declining pH of the oceans due to sulfur emissions. Great portions of the Great Barrier are already dying off due to this acidity and increased temperatures. You propose a scheme to worsen these problems. I think the real world is more complex than your simplistic view allows for. .
