Well, I dont support any crooked politician, regardless of party and I dont like the smell of the Weldon situation, so I cant cry over his loss. But, the State ought to be ashamed over electing Casey over Santorum the world will suffer for it, he was a good guy for the downtrodden. Here in S. Fla. a very fine Congressman, Clay Shaw was not reelected also which is a shame. Negron, a man I dont know well but his credentials looked really good lost, either through "funny" votes (as he was winning right up to the end) or the screwing he got cause they wouldnt allow even a POSTER saying he replaced FOLEY in the voting precincts.
The bottom line is all the hard work Bush did in rebuilding our military and intelligence services is very likely to be lost over the next few years and we really cant EXPECT anyone to RELY on us in the middle east for protection, thus IRAN will soon RUN THE SHOW over there. jdn

Democrats effectively used the hate for bush to gain seats

Yep. The Great Hate-Out. No more Love-Ins, I guess. Not your father's Democratic Party.
