My boe calculation was not to many significant figures. 400 metres was the minimum as I recall from 18 years ago. 500 metres is a nice round number.

If keeping the CO2 away from the surface is an issue, deeper will be better. I guess that 400 metres is deep enough, but perhaps deeper would be better.

The subduction trenches would really give some fall and some depth to the storage zone.
