Pelosi is already talking of changing direction on Iraq which IMHO means WITHDRAW. Imagin how the average Iraqi feels this morning? Cant blame them if they decide they are safer siding with the terrorists. jdn

I may be in a minority on this thread, but I was saddened to see a lot of the moderate Republicans go down.

OTOH, they were replaced with a lot of moderate Democrats who will now give Pelosi and company fits.

Poor Roskam, I certainly would not want to run against a woman who has given two legs for her country.

I am amazed he held on. They had it all set up to go after him for bad-mouthing her at the first opportunity. I don't remember what they used, but I know they did smear him on it.
