Yes, I think Bush will listen.
Maybe even Rove will help him setting up the dems to create an alibi situation, where they "force" him to get an Iraq exit plan in place before next presidential election in 2 years? I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Not everything. Unfortunately the tax cuts have a built in expiration date, which means that the Dems can increase taxes without even voting for a tax increase, and without having the tax increase be subject to a veto.
