How does "President Pelosi" sound? Only 2 impeachments away.
Coming soon to a House near you.

Life is good.

Morning Peter

Recount likely.

In Loudoun County, Virginia as of 1:30 a.m. this morning there were 3 precincts that still registered no votes on the unofficial results site for Virginia. ( Polls close here at 7 p.m.)

At least one of the three uses the strangest paper ballot form of voting I have ever seen. My friend who votes there said that one of the machines was malfunctioning with the ballots and they had young people opening the voting machine and ballots falling out on the floor.

The system for the last Presidential in that precinct was that you used the machine--------it then spews out a paper ballot with your votes registered by the machine.

In the center of the room was a locked election "box" with a slot watched by a person. You then carry your ballot to that box and place it in the box -------who watches you place your ballot in the machine. Only one person was at that box---no observer watching.

Now regarding absentee ballots------------if a person does not blank out the whole square when voting, your ballot is not considered valid.

Anyone who were to use a check mark or an x would not have their absentee ballot counted. This is like the old fashioned manner of doing multiple choice tests where the whole square must be blanked out to be read by the card reader. This is arcane.

Something has to change before the next Presidential election.
