No. But there will be fewer bridges to nowhere and I strongly suspect that earmarks will be on the decline.

Edit:

And heck, who knows? Maybe they will use actual scientists and real experts when they need to consult for new bills and such.

The Dems might try to repeal some of Bushes tax cuts but not Clintons biggest of them all. Illegal immigration still gets swept under the rug. Terrorists free to move about the country. We have simply gone from Bad to Bad. I hope they prove me wrong.

I'm hoping the budget will start looking better.

Maybe Bush will finally discover what the word VETO means and everybody will finally figure out that the word "earmark" is a VULGARITY that should not even be discussed, let alone included in legislation.
