I think one of the Democrat's first priorities is to ALLOW Medicare and the VA to use their buying power to negotiate lower prices. I consider that plain old capitalism and I think the drug companies should have to start learning to deal with it when it comes to the American consumer. The Drug companies and the Oil companies seem to have had a direct lobbying pipeline into this whitehouse. I'd like to see that come to an end. That's NOT to say I want the damn trial lawyers, unions and teachers to run the Democrats.
