Price controls would be a mistake. Drugs have not been as aggressive in R&D as they used to since possibility of controls were mentioned in Clinton days...money is being sucked into an Iraq black hole though. A trillion dollars yet???

Hospitals charging $4 for a Tylenol tablet and half that for a cotton swab...this is where the inefficient money is. Billions and billions...

Unscrupulous doctors ordering unnecessary procedures and tests often times maiming patients...and getting away with it. We need new drugs though. We need cures!!! The "invisible hand" is controlling drug costs slowly. PFE is 50% below it's all-time high...and so is just about every other giant.
