Today was our meeting for November...we honored both the Active Military, and the Veterans from all wars, especially the ones that are hospitalized in the hospital here....Have a Christmas party planned for them, as well as decorations for two wards, plus we take down the decorations the end of Dec as well...We're sending material and sewing accessories for 2 orphanages in Iraq, because the soldiers like to make the kids smile, sending American flags to another group of soldiers in Iraq because the kids love them from the soldiers, plus entertainment CD's and DVD's to the wounded coming out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Plus several other projects ....Busy, and fun meeting, with a wonderful young woman on what AWACS does for us.... Of course, the words are very welcome today....THANKS!
