Some interesting developments last nite:

**Some very right wing issues like abortion went down to defeat even in places like South Dakata.

**Currently, the House's Dem majority is at 30 but may go up.....there are still a number of undecided races because of close vote counts.......one right here in WA state where Darcy Burner is fighting to be the first women Dem to represent the 8th district, a normally Republican district.

**the South is not as red as many of us once thought.

**a black man almost became senator of Tennessee. That one just blows me away.

**Both Allen and H. Clinton much less likely to be presidential candidates in 2008. Allen for obvious reasons; Clinton only got 67% of the vote in NYC. Given the ambivalence people have for her, I think that percentage is not nearly enough to catapult her into a national position.

**AND ROVE IS NOT NEARLY AS CLEVER AS TEN THOUGHT!
