WE DID NOT JUST LOSE OUR MAJORITY, WE LOST OUR WAY

Republicans lost their way sometime around when Dick Armey and Bob Walker retired.

America lost it's way when Americans decided that news that is slanted is still news worth watching. America lost it's way when protesting a war allowed you to spit on American Soldiers. America lost it's way when Protestors against the war were accorded more respect than soldiers who did their best when their country asked it. America lost it's way when you determined that some views were more important than others, and that therefore to shout people down and prevent them from expressing an opinion was a valid method of political expression.

The American press no longer provides news, they provide some news blended as entertainment with huge amounts of opinion. The opinion is given far more emphasis than the news, but it is given as news so that Americans believe it is truth.

Until some voice in the US starts to demand that news be delivered free of opinion, and that opinion be exposed as opinion comments, and that political positioning be marked as what it is the citizens of the US will have no idea what goes on in the world.

This will be another war the United States couldn't afford to lose that will be lost. In this case Iraq will join Iran, and likely a nuclear attack on the US will be within the next 20 years. Americans may become more aware at that point.

This time they don't have anyone with the stature of Gingrich, Armey or Walker to lead a revolution.

If they have no one with that stature now then someone can step up. Maybe it will happen, maybe it won't.
