You know what amuses me is that I agree with so much of what you guys say and yet we are so far apart. Take this statement of yours for example:

"I'm worried that the terrorists have successfully driven their wedge with enough useful idiots."

I could not agree more...and yet, we remain on opposite polls ;)

I just happen to have some very tasty pink flake salt here- form the Murray River. I won't even make you eat the cheap stuff.

You know useful idiots are sort of in the eye of the beholder. I always thought Bush was a useful idiot as far as terrorists were concerned. I'm sure you've seen the data from our own intelligence agencies and those of other countries. They think that far from being a bug zapper, Iraq is a bug breeder (and btw I'm not really comfortable comparing bugs and people, but it's an analogy that is in such common parlance I thought I'd use it.)

I've seen some conservatives crying down the rafters, and saying it's the end of the world (I know you're not one of them). The democratic house (and possibly senate) won't mean the end of the world, or even the end of hunting down terrorists. They may do it in a different way, but different can be good. Different could be very good in Iraq too.
