I agree. One of the arguments against that is the experience in congress that it takes to chair one of the major committees. I disagree that inexperienced congress persons would not be able to chair such committees especially since past congress persons remain available as advisers to current representatives.

What other arguments are their for or against term limits?

I agree! Political office should be a public service - and part of true public service is knowing when to leave.

It might help. I used to oppose it, now I might not be a supporter but I'm not an opponent.

Even if it does help, I don't think it will be enough by itself.

Agreed, but the House would never allow that to happen. Just like they never turn down a pay raise.
