OT I have only watched parts of episodes of CSI Miami and NY. Never grabbed me. Ensemble casts are a very delicate balancing act, and what sets the original apart are the truly human moments, particularly in the early episodes. I had no idea what Grissom (Peterson) did before CSI, but channel flipping the other night, I saw him in a made for TV movie with Sissy Spacek. He could actually get by on his looks and had kind of a David Hasselhof hunky thing going. Let's hope he can't sing. Yeah, and Caruso can be really good with the right script. CD
