In Iraq by now most of the fighting, it seems, is taking place among the locals - the Shi'a and the Sunni's. This ancient conflict was deliberately (and very successfully) reignited by Zarqawi - and now, it has momentum. It won't stop until they'll get tired of bleeding each other... Sad, but that's how it is. About the Left... yes, many on the left are what I call "pathologically Amercacentric". Nothing can ever happen in any part of the world without evil actions by American government, or corporations, or - if all else fails - without the demoralizing influence of our chewing gum, movies... and Coca-Cola.
