An invisible hand guiding Baker wouldn't be obvious to Junior.

"Or maybe Dad is the power and Baker works behind the scenes."

Maybe. I think Bush Sr. is sincere in his wishes to keep from stepping on Smirk's toes. If he is intervening to that extent, then the feeling is Jr. has so thoroughly screwed the pooch that he has impeachment in his future.

In the press meeting today, the reporter said to Bush: a week ago you said this......now today you are saying almost the opposite. What gives? Bush's response: "A week ago it was before the election."

The takeaway.........its okay to lie during campaigns but you must tell the truth after the election is over. Its funny....even Rush admitted he was lying.

Meanwhile, I listened to ole Rummie's concession speech.......he still doesn't get it. His latest talking point.....this war is too complicated and people don't understand it. I hope he likes doing a lot of gardening.......
