I would go at the hearing along the following dimensions:

1. The war and how did the run up to it take place.
2. The Budget
3. Profiteering on the war.
4. Kyoto Protocol - how was the "energy policy" formed
5. Patriot Act
6. Corruption

Pretty simple approach - let's get some due diligence done and expose what has gone on...and most important...learn from and craft new policies.

First senate investigation question: is Rice doing Bush?

What - exactly - are Rice and Bush doing in those late night Iraq strategy sessions? Why did Rice refer to Bush as "her husband"? Following the precedent set by the Clinton hearings, the public clearly has a right to know.

Both should be before the senate, put under oath, and made to recount their sexual practices and infidelities. If anything is out of order, if anything inter-racial and/or unsanctioned by Jesus is going on, impeachment will be necessary. It's the law.

After that the Senate can move on to Haliburton, torture, oil firms etc. But first we need to get this Bush/Rice thing taking care of.
