If I could jump in during JoAT's absence.

I asked the same question, and he said 78.6 is the square of 61.8

(Square of 0.618)

23.6 definitely is a Fib, but I have to look up a reference as to why.

I think the "correct" fib after 61.8 is 76.4, but whatever.

I don't use 100....whatever for?

.786 is SQRT of .618, I can't remember where .236 comes from.
