re: The rightwing are still in total denial. The Neoconservatives lost this election. The Republicans that gave up their principles (for power and Delay lobby money) and hitched their wagons to the Neo's lost this election. Moderate, old fashioned conservatives still have a large base in this country. (A few got elected as Democrats). Nothing wrong with that. And the Democratic party has drifted right, closer to the center. There are not nearly as many far, far left folks as there used to be. Limbaugh and Hannity have a problem. They woke up yesterday and realized they were part of the problem, and the bulk of their audience had drifted towards the center. Somehow they will have to follow that drift or become irrelevant. Tuesday was a good day for the country.
