Response to this pressurized moment i posted
i survived. i spent over a year playing out this mess---i ended up losing 10% of my capital , it could have been a lot worse.
i actually learned a GREAT DEAL on how to work one's way out of a near financial death experience.
i admittedly was swinging for the fences--grandslam really:).

My situation is now, what the hell, make your target simple.

My situation is basic. If i can average a 10% yield before taxes a year i can maintain my principlal until i and my wife have reached "food for the vultures" level-- a level neither one us want to arrive at, actually basically we have decided we won't arrive at.

As StudsTerkel, a mentally vital ,electric 95, in an interview heard recently when askedwhat hashe to say about oldage, now having lived so long.
Studs replied anyone that says the best years start at 80 is a one big mouthed LIAR. Decaying isn't fun:) max
