>>Does anyone know if Vista will run on Apple? I know XP will.<<

billcasto -

Just last week I installed Vista RC-1 on my MacBook Pro, under Parallels Desktop. It runs fine. The installation was smooth and uneventful, though it took a very long time.

If you're asking about running it using Boot Camp, I can only report that I have heard it can be done, but I have no first-hand knowledge of it.

PS: One thing I noticed about Vista was that every time you want to install software or make some kind of system change, it puts up a dialogue box asking you to confirm that you really want to do it. Unlike OS X, however, it doesn't require you to provide an administrator password. You just have to click to indicate your choice.
