I believe Geraldo called it correctly last night. Considering most of the elections were lost by VERY small majority votes he feels, and it makes sense to me, that the Republican Congress not LISTENING TO BUSH insisted on a harsh restrictive policy (the fence) on illegal immigration without also including a worker program for those already in this country and those wishing to come legally. This really irritated the Spanish vote which went mostly Democratic and the white vote split 50/50 as usual. If this is so, its really sad, cause any fool ought to be able to see that we must have a worker program to at least deal with the 11-13 million illegals presently here. jdn
