Perhaps time to let the herd rule.

I have become much more mellow in my advancing years. Que sera, sera. If things get bad enough, which they probably won't, we'll figure something out. I no longer buy the notion of calamity.

As for voting, I've never encouraged people to vote out of duty. The stupid and the uninformed shouldn't vote. On Tuesday, I marked the three items on the ballot I knew enough about and left the rest.
