I dont see retaliation against the President, per se. I do see a lot of hearings on procurement policies and analysis of where the money went in Iraq. this is legitimate government oversight. Even republicans have readily admitted there has been a lot of waste and money moving into "black holes".

Also, the Senate Intelligence Committee, under Jay Rockefeller, will be a different committee than under Pat Roberts. There are some reports that were stalled in Committee that will probably come out in early 2007 now. I don't have any clue what is in those reports, but I suspect the broader issue of quality of intel, and use, will be examined differerntly with that Committee in democratic hands.

Time will tell.
