Next time call the local police they may be easier to deal with if you dial their number, not 911

The OPP are the local police in Parry Sound. The OPP local number is handed off to 911 service at 5pm sharp - and it goes to the dispatch center in North Bay.

I now have that number and the National Coast Guard dispatch number for both the US and Canada on speed dial on all our phones. I also broke down and put a VHF system in the boat.
