I cook Middle Eastern food quite a bit, even have a tagine, and I find pomegranates very useful- of course I am often merely using the syrup.

When I was growing up in so. Calif we had a pomegranate tree. I would get SO sick of them by the end of the season.

I hate to mention this, but you owe me a Thanksgiving recipe :-)
