I bought at around $22 and don't think I have talked about it other than as buys that I have made. I plan to hold it for a long time. There are others who are much more knowledgeable than me but here is a sketch. They are presently drilling or involved in drilling three very large potential plays: 1) Columbia River Basin, Oregoan (gas). Encana is presently testing a well in which DPTR is involved. Previous drilling in the basin indicated potential pay thickness of several hundreds to over a thousand feet. The basin is said to represent the biggest remaining known undeveloped gas resource in the US. DPTR has a very large land position in the CRB. 2) Paradox Basin, Utah (gas). Don't know much about this one but they are currently testing a new gas discovery which some experts say has large potential 3) Western Utah thrust belt (oil). They just started drilling a prospect near Wolverine's Covenant oil discovery: that is one of the largest onshore US oil discoveries in recent years. DPTR's current drilling prospect, I think, is said to have larger potential than Covenant. In addition they have several other propsects to drill in this play said to have good potential. DPTR has solid existing production in the U.S. so even if none of their big time exploration potential pans out (not likely) they have a share price safety net.
