Having lived on both sides of the border I try to look at it from both sides. Having been a Tour driver in both Washington and New York, I think about it a lot. I agree with a lot of the things George Bush has done and proposed. I diagree with Arming Coast Guard vessels in the Great lakes. I simply see this as a disaster waiting to happen. All it will take is one incident. To risk the friendship between the two countries to arm Coast Guard Vessels seems a small gain for the potential of the cost.
