"Do they remember that I told them that Bush would do this to the Republicans? Actually, I thought it would be a lot worse." Bush still has two years to complete his destruction of the Republican party, and now he has some motivated Dems to help him along with his unintended project. Remember how Karl Rove was going to construct a Republican majority that would last a "generation"? Six years! Why hasn't Bush given Rove his walking papers? THAT would show a genuine change of heart.
