True

Excellent point.

I just received my new cleaver from Macy's- you may or may not have missed my scintillating post on its purchase. The Professional S series by Henckel is better than I expected. I thought it would be like my father's set- but his must have been non-professional :-) (although still not the crap knives they make in China for their - "I want people to think I have Henckles but I don't want to pay for them" line)

My cleaver is quite heavy, yet very nicely balanced. Feels very good in the hand. I just went to town on some squash and shallots with it. I have to say it will also make a nice WPD (Weapon of Personal Defense)- should I ever need to defend myself in the kitchen.

I also bought myself a pop up free standing silicone colander. I had a hand held silicone colander that was a gift- and I use it so often, I figured the stand alone model (and it's bigger too) would be a nice assist. Also got the Cuisipro cheese grater- for those very naughty times with cheese.
