OT You ever see that "Sex and the City" episode where they ask each other "Who would you do?" if you could go back in time to the height of their... uhhh... popularity? Models and divas don't do it for me, but I was watching some old movie the other night, and holy mackerel, was that Merle Oberon something. I Googled her name and found out she was the product of an Irish father and an East Indian mother. A stunner. Mostly, it was the intelligence she brought to her roles, everything in nuance. Ingred Bergman had it, too. The Hayes (movie censorship) code had a few unintended positive consequences. Those women could speak volumes with their eyes. CD
