Saw something on the tube today about changing the tone of the process. You can't go on TV and make an ad saying WD 40 cures arthritis. You have to be able to prove it. Also, you can't show Janet Jackson's boob.
But, when it comes to politics, anything goes. Truth, lie, or fantasy. I don't watch local TV with the dish, so I miss the ads, but I do see some on cable shows, One guy saying the Dem voted for studying Asian prostitutes; for studying masterbation in old men; for something about Eskimo transvestites. How can you say that during family hour and get away with it? Why can you lie about records or positions with absolute impunity? Where is the accountability?
Where is the proof? Why is WD 40 regulated more than political speech.
I want my truth. I want my accountability. I want my Jr. Mints.
