EC, my son in law (PHD in atmospheric chemistry from UC Irving) who is a world expert on global warming says the top atmospheric scientists in the world do agree that global warming is happening and being caused by man.

A few months ago Cambridge university invited son in law to interview for a position on their faculty. He turned it down as he wanted to stay close to family.

He presently studies global warming and teaches climate change and thermodynamics at a northwestern university.

You clearly do not know what you're talking about:

"In fact there is very little consensus in the scientific community, i.e. the people who really know what they are talking about ... about what is the cause of global warming, or that the present minor global temperature excursion, which is hardly significant so far, and has been exceeded several times in this millenium ... is directly tied to carbon dioxide."

Here's the temperature change for the last millenium:

Please explain your claim "has been exceeded several times in this millenium." You can't because nothing even comes close since the onset of the industrial revolution in 1850.
