Cheney's "fine"? He's a criminal liar who has gotten mega billion dollar no-bid contracts for hiw own company, grossly lied and covered-up about the energy gougings in 2000-2001, snubbed his nose at the Constitution, stonewalled the courts on his corrupt energy task force and continually disparaged the patriotism of tha majority of Americans. Cheney was the biggest liar of all on WMD and phony Al Qaida contacts of Saddam. He has a lot of blood on his hands in Iraq. He shot a guy in the face while drinking then avoided police. His chief of staff iks under indictment for outing a CIA agent during war-time (which Libby claims Cheney ordered) and he also lied about cutting ties to Halliburton, secretly keeping 650,000 options and a 150 K a year salary. The first big investigation will be Halliburton. Cheney knows what's coming. He knows he's guilty. He can either face justice and get indicted, try to keep stonewalling the courts and congress or he can step down now. He has three choices. But none of them end well.
