Tigers trade for Gary Sheffield freep.com A classic trade for both teams. Tigers get a proven hitter who is feared and productive for three years. The Yankees get pitching prospects to help replenish their system. It's a good trade for both teams. Overall, the Tigers still have alot of pitching depth, didn't touch the top guys. Good trade.
