You are probably right about Iran/Israel EXCEPT in the event Iran was to conclude that either Israel the US or both was about to attack.

Actually I very much doubt that either Israel or the US will attack Iran. But nothing can be ruled out.

In fact, I think the next 60 days may well see Israel attack Iran.

The window of Israeli control of American foreign policy is rapidly closing.

The Dem controlled Congress will undoubtedly interpret their mandate as to wind down Middle East military involvement as soon as possible.

The potential repercussions in forcing Israel to attempt to co-exist in their region without US big-brothering may prove to be more than they can handle, and could result in the initiation of hostilities while the GOP rubber stamp Congress is still in office.

Even without Rummy, the team of Bush, Cheney and the butt kissing GOP Congress may find it impossible to not act in the interests if Israel over the interests of the US.

A position repeatedly taken by this group of idiots in the past.

It will not hit anyone. Needs all friends that they can get. Need to privatize enterprises and open the economy.
