I had read a book recently where over three hundred thousand Cambodians were killed in out bombings before the war in Vietnam was even declared. Sounds like a book that is pushing the Communist side of the war. Frontline online says between 150,000 and 300,000 dead. That's a source to be taken with a grain of salt. I find that difficult to believe. The bombing was not of population centers, but of routes (read trails) used by the North Vietnamese to infiltrate the south.
